Software Engineer (Internal Tools Development)

Full-time (40 hours)

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role you will develop and maintain internal applications to support other engineering teams. For example, you will work on developing internal web applications that would help engineers to automate deployment and upgrades of customers, or manage SLAs for security patches.

Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to design and build integrative solutions that will serve the company needs including improvement of workflow and company processes.


IBM ReaQta is now part of IBM Security. ReaQta develops an EDR (Endpoint Detection and
Response) which protects customers across the globe from cyber attacks. The engineering
team of ReaQta is growing rapidly to tackle many technical challenges. As part of this growth
process, we are looking for a SW Developer that wishes to take part in the development of the
company’s web-based management systems.

You will work in a complex and challenging environment within a dynamic and constantly
growing development team. You will have the chance to gain experience with multiple
technologies, systems and platforms, while developing different types of internal tools.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

● You are comfortable on a multidisciplinary, international team
● Strong problem-solving skills are required along with the ability to work independently.
● Good writing and communication skills, organization skills, and ethos of responsibility.
● Experience with high-level programming languages.
● Experience using Linux.
● Experience in developing server-side, DB-backend applications.
● Strong knowledge of browser technologies – HTML, JavaScript, CSS
● Code documentation tooling and best practices
● Version control tools like git and GitLab

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

● Strong ability to understand the full scope of complex systems.
● Experience with scripting languages such as Python and/or Typescript
● Experience in developing client-side applications using, for example, Angular or React.
● Knowledge in AWS.
● Previous experience with cybersecurity is a huge plus
● Familiarity with Kubernetes and Ansible is a plus.
